The Need to Knows
Welcome to Restoration Community Church! We are so glad you're interested in who we are, and we hope to meet you soon.
We know it’s hard to get know a church just by our website, but here’s a good place to start. Below are some "Need to Knows" that should answer some immediate questions you might have.
Who is the Pastor?
Gary McGhee is the pastor of Restoration Community Church. He and his family moved to area in the summer of 2015 so Gary could join the staff of River Oaks Community Church for the purpose of planting a new church. Click here to find out more about him!
What can I expect when I come?
We meet on Sunday mornings at Griffith Elementary School at 10 a.m. Building a community is so important to who we are that we have a complimentary café beginning at 9:30 a.m. We encourage you to come and show up however you feel comfortable. Our services have a live band, relaxed clothing and we incorporate both traditional hymns and contemporary praise and worship into our service.
We are a brand new church that’s opening its doors on the south side of Forsyth county/north side of Davidson county. Something distinct about us is that we’re just normal people looking to be restored in our relationships with God, ourselves and others. There's a place for you here, and we look forward to seeing you soon. Click Here to learn more about us (Mission & Vision). Our church is located at 1385 W. Clemmonsville Rd. Winston-Salem, NC 27127 (Get Directions).
What do you have for my kids?
The Children’s Ministry’s goal is to share the love of Jesus Christ with your children while providing the highest quality programming and ministry for children of all ages. We strive to create environments that are both safe and celebratory of the child’s age and stage of life. Our teachers and staff undergo background checks and training and equipping to ensure that the very best care is being provided for the children at all times. We love what we do and the children we get to work with!
Nursery care is provided for children birth - 2 years of age. Children ages 2 through fifth grade enjoy music, story time, teaching, play and small group discussion (where age-appropriate). For more information on all of our programming for certain ages, please click the links below.
How do I get involved?
1) Come to a worship service on Sunday.
2) We will be forming Small Groups that meet in homes. Please send a message to Gary to inquire about joining a group.
